Boho Willow Wreath
This tutorial is great for creating simple budget-friendly multiples that you can list in your Etsy shops.
Boho Willow Wreath
Equipment
- 1 Pair of scissors
- 1 Wire cutter
Materials
- 1 12" Willow Wreath Dollar Tree
- 6 stems Frosted leaves
- 6 stems Pampas grass like stems
- 1 roll 1.5" burlap and lace wired ribbon
Instructions
- Position 3 of your stems at the top and bottom of your wreath base.
- Trim stems as needed with a wire cutter.
- Glue as you go or glue after you've determined where the stems fit base.
- Add in your faux pampas grass like stems.
- Trim stems as needed.
Create Your Bow
- Measure off an 8" tail and give it a pinch.
- Create a loop and pinch and twist so that the lace side is always showing.
- Your loops shouldn't be too big.
- Use the wreath design to help you determine how many loops and what size loops work best.
- Secure your bow with a pipe cleaner and attach to the wreath base.
- Dovetail all the tails and fluff out your bow.
Single Ribbon Bow
Equipment
- 1 Pair of scissors
- 1 Wire cutter
Materials
- 1 2.5"double sided wired ribbon
- 1 pipe cleaner
- 1 zip tie
Instructions
- Measure out a 12" tail.
- Pinch of the tail.
- Create a 7" loop.
- Pinch in place.
- Create a 7" loop on the opposite side. (You can decided if you'd like to use the opposite side of the ribbon or twist to have a matching loop.)
- You're going to make a total of 6 loops, 3 on each side.
- Tie off with a pipe cleaner.
- Repeat the same process making the loops 6"long, with 11" tails.
- Place your second bow on top of your first bow, attach them together with the original pipe cleaner.
- Secure the two bows with a zip tie.
