01.29.21 Easter Wreath-Tammy

Materials

  • 1 unit wire wreath form
  • 2 rolls different colors of mesh
  • 6 rolls ribbons
  • zip ties
  • 1 pack twist ties
  • 3 units Easter eggs
  • gorilla glue

Instructions

Prepping your base

  • Start with a wire wreath form.
  • Take 2 different colors of mesh and cut 25” pieces.
  • Take a piece of your mesh and make a cruffle by curling the ends in and pinching the middle together.
  • Add it into your wreath making sure each tie has a cruffle. Alternate colors as you go.

Adding your ribbons.

  • Take 4 ribbons and make a bow with each one, layering them as you go.
  • You can add some extra tails in between the bows.
  • Secure your bows together with a zip tie.
  • Fluff out your bow and trim the tails.
  • Take 2 ribbons and cut 18 x 13” pieces of each one.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Take a different ribbon and cut 9 x 26” pieces.
  • Layer the 2 13” tails, pinch the middle and add it into your ties.
  • Repeat this until all your ties have tails.
  • Take your 26” pieces and make a funky bow.
  • Add them into your twist ties on every 2nd one.
  • Take a ribbon and make a simple bow with 10 loops either side.
  • Secure the bow together with a zip tie.
  • Add this bow to the bottom right of your wreath.
  • Add your previous bow that you made to the top left of your wreath.

Adding your Easter eggs.

  • Take 3 giant colorful eggs and add them into the wreath, secure them with gorilla glue.
