1.12.23 Mesh Valentines Day Wreath ~ Fancy

Instructions

Prep your design.

  • Start with a 18” round evergreen wreath base.
  • Fluff out the pine needles.
  • Take 3 types of mesh and cut a few 20” pieces of each.
  • Take the mesh and make cruffles by curling in the edges and pinching the middle together.
  • Add the cruffles to the inner and outer ring of the wreath, alternating colors as you go.

Add your picks and sprays.

  • Add in a few iridescent pom-pom picks.
  • Add some gold paper grass.

Add in your sign and hearts.

  • Add in a few foam hearts around the wreath using skewers.
  • Take your heart sign and add mounting squares to the back of it.
  • Add in your heart sign to the center of the wreath using pipe cleaners.

Make and add your half bow.

  • Take 2 ribbons and make a half bow with 1 loop each.
  • Layer your half bows.
  • Add the half bow to the top right of the wreath
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Repeat above instruction no. 1 - 4 again.

Add your picks and add your final half bows.

  • Add in some branch picks.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a few half bows with 1 loop each.
  • Add the half bows to the wreath
  • Dovetail the ends.
