1.19.23 Watermelon grapevine - Melissa

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with an oval grapevine wreath base.
  • Take 3 types of 10” mesh and cut 4 x 23” of each.
  • Take 12 pipe cleaners and add it around the grapevine.
  • Take the mesh and make cruffles by curling in the edges and pinching the middle together.
  • Add the cruffles to the grapevine, alternating colors as you go.

Make and add your half bows.

  • Take 2 layered ribbons and make a half bow with 1 loop each.
  • Add the half bow to the bottom of the grapevine.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Repeat above instruction no. 1-3 a few more times around the grapevine.

Add in your sign and filler flower

  • Take your sign and add mounting squares to the back of it.
  • Add in your watermelon sign to the right of the grapevine using pipe cleaners.
  • Add in some filler flowers.

Make and add your bow.

  • Take 3 ribbons and make a bow with 3 loops each.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 4 loops.
  • Layer the bows.
  • Secure the bows with a pipe cleaner.
  • Add the bow to the top left of the grapevine.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Dovetail the ends.

Add your picks, greenery and florals.

  • Add in some Christmas picks.
  • Add in a few greenery.
  • Add in some red flowers.
