12.25.22 Bee Wreath - Meghan

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with a round evergreen wreath base.
  • Fluff out the pine needles.
  • Take a 10” mesh and cut 5 x 24” pieces of each.
  • Take a 21” mesh and cut 5 x 24” pieces of each.
  • Take 2 types of 10” mesh and cut 5 x 24” pieces of each.
  • Take the mesh and curl in the edges and pinch the ends together.
  • Add the mesh to the inner and outside ring of the wreath, alternating colors as you go.
  • Make your round base to an oval shape using zip ties.

Add your sign and bumblebee.

  • Take your sign and add pipe cleaners to the back using staples and glue.
  • Add your sign to the top center of the wreath.
  • Add your bumblebee to the wreath using pipe cleaners.

Make and add your bow, half bow and ribbon tails.

  • Take 2 ribbons and make a bow with 2 loops each.
  • Take 1 ribbon and cut a piece.
  • Take 2 ribbons and make a bow with 2 loops each.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a half bow with 1 loop.
  • Layer the bows.
  • Secure the bows with pipe cleaners.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Add your bow to the left side of the wreath.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Take 2 ribbons and cut a piece of each.
  • Layer the ribbon and make ribbon tails.
  • Add the ribbon tails to the top of the wreath.
  • Take 1 ribbon and cut a piece for a tail.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Layer the ribbon and bow.
  • Add it to the right of the wreath.
  • Take 1 ribbon and cut a piece for a ribbon tail.
  • Add the tail to the right of the wreath.
  • Repeat above instruction 13 - 21 all around the wreath.

Add in your greenery and picks.

  • Add in a few mixed greenery bushes.
  • Add in some big flowers.
  • Add in a few filler flowers.
  • Add in some more mixed greenery bushes.
  • Add in a few bumblebee picks.
