Prepping your base
Start with a 15” wire wreath form base with twist ties attached. Straighten out your twist ties.
Spray your sign with a light layer of krylon glitter blast diamond dust spray. (Optional)
Using 2 different colored mesh cut 9 x 20” strips of each color.
Take a piece of mesh, scrunch the edges into the middle to making a ruffle.
Add your ruffle into your wreath, securing it in with a twist tie.
Repeat this with all your ruffles, alternating your colors.
Cut 8 x 10” pieces of each color mesh.
Roll your mesh to create a curl and add one color to the inside of your wreath into your twist ties, making sure that you are not placing the same colors on top of eachother.
Take your other color and place it on the outside section making sure you're not placing it on the same color.
Make and add your bow and tails
Start with 4 different ribbons that match your color scheme.
Take ribbon 1,2 and 3 and cut 9 x 14” tails of each color. Dovetail the ends.
Take 2 of your tails, layer them, pinch the middle and add them into a twist tie on your wreath. Pull your tails so that they face out of your wreath.
Repeat this process skipping every other twist tie.
Take your 3rd ribbon tail and add it into the twist ties that don’t have tails.
Take a different ribbon, cut 3 x 26” pieces and make a loop with 2 tails and add it into the twist ties with only one tail on the inside section of your wreath.
Take your ribbon that you made your 3rd tail with and cut 4 x 26” pieces and make a loop with 2 tails and add it into the empty twist ties on the outside section of your wreath.
Take a ribbon, make a bow with 8” tails and 2 x 7” loops.
Take another piece of ribbon and add it to the middle of your bow to make extra tails.
Take the same color ribbon and make another bow on top.
Take your next ribbon and make another bow on top of the previous one.
Take another piece of ribbon and add it to the middle of your bow to make extra tails.
Take the same color ribbon and make another bow on top.
Take another piece of ribbon and add it to the middle of your bow to make extra tails.
Zip tie the middle to secure the bows together.
Fluff out your bow and dovetail the ends.
Attach your bow to the left hand side of your wreath. Secure it with a zip tie around the top ring of your base
Adding your sign and florals.
Take your sign and attach it next to your bow in the middle of your wreath.
Take some orange tea roses and add a few on to your wreath between your mesh.
Take some mini white flowers on a long stem and add it into your wreath.
