Make a little loop at the top of the swag or Christmas tree for your hanger.
If you're using a Christmas tree, fluff all the pine tines to the front so the back is flat.
Start by adding in the iridescent stems. Trim excess stems at the end.
Fluff out leaves on the stems.
Match the main stem of the spray with the center spine of the swag and attach using pine tines.
Trim stray leaves that are sticking out too much or in the way.
Continue add the sprays, attaching at the center spine.
Incorporate the different leaves by bending them so they blend together.
Using your 4" ribbon, dovetail end and attach to the end of the swag, using the pine tines.
Create a little roller coaster effect with ribbon and attach with pine tines. Repeat one more time, securing with pine tine.
Leave a ribbon tail and dove tail end.
When creating your bow, do not cut at the finish.
Start with your 1" ribbon, create 2 loops.
Next come in with your 1.5" ribbon, create 2 slightly larger loops.
Repeat with the next 1.5" ribbon, making the loops slightly larger with each layer.
Now add in your 2.5" ribbon, with a little larger loop.
Finish off with a 4" ribbon, creating a 20" strip that you'll attach at the center to create 2 x 10" tails.
Secure bow with a zip tie.
Attach to the swag using the pine tines.
Fluff out your bow.
Now create large tails that will roller coaster down the rest of the swag. Now, cut the ribbon from the spool and dovetail ends.
Add accent pick, securing with pine tines.
Attach red and white ornaments
