360 Grapevine Recipe - Multiples

Equipment

  • Scissors
  • Wire cutter
  • Hot glue gun or pot

Materials

  • 1 14" round grapevine
  • 3 bunches 60919 Purple florals
  • 1 Amaranthus stem
  • 2 Greenery weirdos
  • 2 Oversized flower heads
  • 2 4" wired ribbon 2 different styles
  • 3 10" deco mesh 3 different styles
  • zip ties
  • 4 pipe cleaners

Instructions

Prepping the base

  • Clean your grapevine.
  • Bend 4 pipe in half and cut at the fold. So now you have 8 shorter pipe cleaners.
  • Add them to the grapevine wreath in the middle equally spaced apart, starting with North, South, East, and West. Add the other 4 in between. Almost like you're creating wired wreath form.
  • Trim your deco mesh to cruffles in the pipe cleaners you added earlier.

Add greenery

  • Cut out bundles of the 60919 filler florals - make sure to clean up any extra paper and be careful when handling the metal stems
  • Angle the stems for easy insertion into the grapevine.
  • Then, weave them in the same direction as the grapevine between each cruffle.
  • Next, cut out stems of greenery weirdos.
  • Start adding them in between cruffles and 60919.
  • Start gluing down your stems.
  • Start spreading out your stems to fluff them out. Let the different styles of stems incorporate with each other.

Make a bow

  • Start with your 1st 4" ribbon and make a tail. It doesn't need to be too crazy long because I've got those waterfalls falling down.
  • Pinch that together and reeling your ribbon back for some slack and make a loop from back to front.
  • Pinch at center and twist and make another loop from back to front.
  • You'll have one loop pointing upward and one facing downward.
  • Next, add your next layer of your bow using your 2nd 4" ribbon.
  • Repeat the same process making slightly smaller loops.
  • Fluff out your bow, so that the loops lay diagonal from each other.
  • Secure with a zip tie.
  • Use another zip tie to secure bow to the grapevine.
  • Dovetail ribbon tails and work that wire for a nice curl.

Add more greenery and florals

  • Trim individual waterfall stems of Amaranthus.
  • Add your Amaranthus waterfall stems so it hangs down and around the bow.
  • Hot glue to secure.
  • Trim the oversized flower heads and add to the bow area to accent it as a focal point.
  • Add remaining 60919 and greenery to fill in any bare spots.
