Make sure to push your ruffles as far into the base of the ties and twist tightly.
Add pipe cleaners to the back of your sign, using a stapler. Cover the staples with hot glue to secure in place. Allow glue to dry before attaching to the wreath base.
Secure the sign to the wreath base using the pipe cleaners attached to the sign.
BOW #1: Terri Bow
Using your EZ Bow Maker, start with a 2 ½” ribbon creating a 6” tail, pulling your tail downward.
Create a 6” loop on each side, diagonal from each other. Make sure to pull the end tail diagonal from the opposite tail.
Repeat with your 2nd 2 ½” ribbon, this time starting in the opposite direction with your tail facing to the top right. Making the loops slightly shorter.
Next, repeat the same process using the 3rd 2 ½” wired ribbon. This time you’ll be going over the first set of loops that you did in step 2. Each loop will progressively be smaller than the last.
Repeat again using the next style of 2.5” wired ribbon. Remember, 6” tails with a slightly smaller loop than the last set. This time you’re following the loops from step 3.
You’ll finish off the bow with your 1st 2 ½” ribbon, this time only creating one loop.
Tie off the bow with a pipe cleaner, nice and tightly.
Attach to the left of your sign.
Now go fluff out them bows, friends!
Next, cut your tails into dovetails at different lengths.
BOW #2: Funky Bow
Start with a 2 ½” ribbon creating a 6” tail, keeping your tail pointed outward.
Create a 5” loop on the left side.
Repeat with your 2nd 2 ½” ribbon, this time starting in the opposite direction.
Repeat step #1 with your 3rd 2 ½” ribbon.
Repeat with your 4th 2 ½” ribbon, this time starting in the opposite direction.
So you’re building out left, right, left, then right for a total of 2 loops on each side.
Tie off your bow with a pipe cleaner and add to the bottom right of your wreath sign. Tie the pipe cleaner to the wreath frame itself near the bottom right corner of your sign, without covering the words in your sign.
Fluff out your bow.
Dovetail the ribbon tails.

Dovetail the ends.
Layer one of each ribbon tail. Fold in half, scrunch in the middle, and add to the bottom wreath ties.
Fan out the ribbon tails. and Make sure it all points out to make the wreath look bigger.
Repeat previous 2 steps until you add ribbon tails to each wreath tie on the bottom.
Ribbon Tails with Loops (for the area above the sign)
Use the remaining two ribbon patterns that you didn’t use in the previous ribbon tails.
Stack your ribbons, give a pinch leaving a 7” ribbon tail.
Attach to the wreath frame using the twist tie nearest the middle section of your sign on the right side.
Create a loop, pinch, skip the next twist tie, then attach to the following twist tie, counterclockwise.
Dovetail your ribbon tails.
*You’ll have 4 remaining twist ties on the top row. Fill those with the simple ribbon tails.
ADDING STEMS TO A DECO MESH WREATH:
Trim your flowers into individual stems.
Add hot glue to the stems and insert into the wreath randomly and sporadically, turning the wreath a ¼ at a time to add stems throughout the wreath. Roughly attaching stems around every other twist tie.
Allow the glue to dry.
Trim a couple of individual sunflower bushes off of the garland. Add hot glue and attach to the wreath, one near the bottom left and the other to the top right of the sign.
You can add more sunflower bushes as needed to fill in the design.
Trim smaller pieces of boxwood stems and attach to the wreath using hot glue. Spacing them out in between each of the blue flowers.
Once the glue has all dried, check your stems to see if they need a little adjustments. Bend, glue, do what you need to do to make them behave.
