7.8.21 Scarecrow with rag bow (at warehouse with Coach Jordan) - Coach Mel

Materials

  • 15” wreath frame
  • 1 roll 21” mesh roll
  • 4 rolls smaller mesh
  • 6 rolls ribbons
  • 1 pack twist tie/pipe cleaners
  • 1 piece scarecrow
  • 1 piece rag bow
  • 2 bunches bunches of long stemmed yellow filler flowers
  • 2 bunch sunflower sprays
  • 1 bunch gingham pics and sprays

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with a 15” wreath frame.
  • Take a 21” mesh roll and add 10” poofs all the way around the inner ring.
  • Take 5 rolls of mesh and cut 2 x 30” pieces of each one.
  • Take 4 mesh rolls and cut 2 x 20” pieces of each one.
  • Add the 20” ruffles on top of the inner ring poofs, alternating colors.
  • Take your 30” mesh pieces and make ruffles by pinching the middle together.
  • Add a ruffle into each twist tie on the outside ring.

Add your ribbons.

  • Take and cut 6 x 13” pieces of each one.
  • Dovetail all the ends.
  • Layer 2 ribbons, pinch the middle and add them into a twist tie.
  • Make sure each tie has tails.

Add your scarecrow doll and rag bow.

  • Attach your scarecrow to the left of your wreath with pipe cleaners.
  • Add your big rag bow to the bottom right of your scarecrow.

Add greenery, florals and decorations.

  • Add in some bunches of long stemmed yellow filler flowers.
  • Take some sunflower sprays and add them into the design.
  • Add in some fun gingham pics and sprays.
  • Create a lantern swag to match.
  • Take picks and sprays that you used in the wreath and tie the ends together.
  • Add a bow to the middle where the stems attach.
