Instructions

Create your design.

  • Start with a big lantern base.
  • Add a foam block into the center of the lantern using glue.
  • Add some moss to cover the foam block using glue.
  • Add in a few black glitter branches to the foam.
  • Add in some candy corn branches.
  • Add in a pumpkin decoration to the design using skewers and glue.
  • Add in a big gumdrop decoration to the design using skewers and glue.
  • Add an ice cream decoration to the design using a skewer.
  • Add in a few pumpkin stems.
  • Add in some curly sprays.
  • Add in a few candy corn sprays.
  • Add the big skeleton to the side of the lantern using zip ties.
  • Add in some candy corn sprays to cover the zip ties of the skeleton.

Make and add your bows.

  • Take 2 ribbons and make a bow with 3 loops each.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Layer the bows.
  • Add a candy corn spray to the back of the bow.
  • Secure your bow and candy corn spray together with a zip tie.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Add your bow to the top-front of the lantern using a zip tie.
  • Make some hoops with your bow’s ribbon tails using zip ties.
  • Trim the ends.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 3 loops.
  • Secure your bow with a zip tie.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Add your bow to the top-back of the lantern using a zip tie.
  • Make some hoops with your bow’s ribbon tails using zip ties.
  • Trim the ends.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a half bow.
  • Layer the bows.
  • Secure your bow with a zip tie.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Add your bow to the bottom of the lantern using a zip tie.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow tie by gluing the ends and pinching the middle together.
  • Secure the bow tie in the center with a zip tie.
  • Add the bow tie to the skeleton’s neck.
