8.15.22 Welcome to the Freakshow Wreath - Coach Jordan

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with a round evergreen base.
  • Take 4 types of 10” mesh and cut 3 x 30” pieces of each for the outer ring.
  • Take 4 types of 10” mesh and cut 2 x 30” pieces of each for the inner ring.
  • Take a 10” mesh and tie it to the pines and make poofs all around the inner ring of the base.
  • Take the 10” mesh and make cruffles by curling in the edges and pinching the middle together.
  • Add the cruffles to the outer ring of the base, alternating colors as you go.
  • Add the cruffles to the inner ring of the base, alternating colors as you go.
  • Bend the wreath to make it an oval shape.
  • Add in some support to the back of the wreath.

Make and add your signs.

  • Take 2 mannequin heads and add hats to their heads using glue and skewers.
  • Add black roses to the mannequin.
  • Add felt and twist ties to the back of the mannequin's heads.
  • Add the mannequin to the wreath base.
  • Take your light sign and add mounting squares to the back using glue.
  • Add pipe cleaners to the mounting squares.
  • Add the light sign to the wreath using pipe cleaners.
  • Add your script sign to the wreath.

Make and add your ribbon tails and bow.

  • Take 2 ribbons, layer the ribbons and add it to the wreath making a loop on the side.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Repeat the above three more times around the wreath.
  • Take 2 ribbons and cut a few pieces of each.
  • Layer the ribbon and make ribbon tails.
  • Add the ribbon tails to the wreath.
  • Take 4 ribbons and make a bow with 1 loop of each.
  • Layer the bows.
  • Add a pipe cleaner.
  • Secure the bow with a zip tie.
  • Add the bow to the right of the wreath.
  • Fluff out the bow.
  • Dovetail the ends.

Add in your picks and greenery.

  • Add in a few bone picks.
  • Add a few black leaves.
  • Add in some glitter greenery.
  • Add in some glitter ferns.
  • Add in a spider decoration.
