Materials
- 1 unit 14” wire wreath
- 6 pieces 6 twists
- 1 roll mesh
- 1 bunch fall leaves and tails
- 2 rolls ribbon
- 1 pieces thin wispy piece of raffia
- 1 unit sign
- 1 pack pipe cleaners
Instructions
Prep your base.
- Start with a 14” wire wreath form and attach 6 twists to the 2nd ring.
- Take your mesh and cut 6 x 20” pieces.
- Make a ruffle by pinching the middle together and add it into one of your twist ties, making sure the majority of the ruffle is on the outside of the twist tie and a short portion on the inside.
- Make sure each tie has a ruffle.
- Make and add your fall leaves and tails.
Add some fall leaves into each twist tie.
- Take 2 ribbons and cut 6 ribbon tails of each one.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer 2 pieces, fold and pinch the middle and add it into a twist tie over the leaves.
- Repeat this until all the ties have tails.
- Add a thin wispy piece of raffia made into a 2 loop bow into each twist tie over the tails.
Add your sign.
- Attach your sign to the middle of your wreath, securing it with pipe cleaners.
Make and add your bows.
- Take a ribbon and make 2 mini bows with 16.5” pieces of ribbon.
- Add a piece of raffia into a bow in the middle of each bow.
- Add a bow to the top and bottom of your sign to cover the pipe cleaners.
