8.3.21 Do it for the Ho's Deco Mesh Wreath-Damon

Instructions

Prep.

  • Start with a wire wreath form.
  • Take a 21” mesh roll, bunch the end and add it into a twist tie and make 10” poofs all around your wreath on the inside ring.
  • Take a 10” mesh and cut 10 x 30” pieces.
  • Take the 30” mesh pieces and make cruffles by curling the edges in and pinching the middle together.
  • Add the 8 x 30” cruffles into the outer ring of your wreath.
  • Add the remaining 2 x 30” pieces to the inner ring.
  • Add 20” pieces to the other inner twist ties.

Add your sign.

  • Add cable mounts to the back of the sign.
  • Add pipe cleaners into the cable mounts.
  • Secure your sign to the middle top of your wreath.

Add your bow.

  • Take 1 ribbon and cut a 32” piece.
  • Make it into a circle with a little overlap.
  • With your next ribbon make it 4 inches shorter and do the same thing.
  • Take your last ribbon and cut a 12” piece just for the middle loop.
  • Take your first circle, ruffle the middle together.
  • Take your next one, ruffle it and add it on top.
  • Take your middle loop and add it into the middle
  • Secure your bow together with a pipe cleaner.
  • Cut a strip of each ribbon for tails and add that to the bow.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Add your bow to the bottom of your sign and secure it with pipe cleaners.
  • Fluff out your bow.

Make and add your tails.

  • Take your 4” ribbon and cut 10x 14” tails.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Take your next ribbon and cut 10 x 13” tails.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Take your next ribbon and cut 10 x 12” tails.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Layer the 3 tails and add them into the ties.

Add greenery.

  • Add in some greenery.
  • Take some gold leaves and add them into the design.
