8.30.21-Eyeball Halloween Mesh Wreath
Materials
- 1 unit wire wreath form
- 3-4 pieces cable mounts
- 1 pack pipe cleaners or zip tie
- 3 pieces eyeball decorations
- 1 pack skewers
- 3 pieces pumpkin decorations
- 1 rolls 21” mesh roll
- 5 rolls mesh (5 different colors)
- 7 rolls 7 ribbons
- 1 unit sign
- 1 pack sticky googly eye decorations
Instructions
Prep.
- Start with a wire wreath form.
- Add cable mounts to the back of your sign and let dry.
- Add pipe cleaners into your eyeball decorations.
- Add skewers into your pumpkins.
- Take a 21” mesh roll, bunch the end and add it into a twist tie and make 12” poofs all around your wreath.
- Using 5 different colors of mesh, cut 2 x 30” pieces of each one.
- Using 4 different colors of mesh, cut 2 x 15” pieces of each one.
- Take the 30” mesh pieces and make cruffles by curling the edges in and pinching the middle together.
- Add the 30” cruffles into the outer ring of your wreath alternating colors as you go.
- Take the 15” mesh pieces and make cruffles by curling the edges in and pinching the middle together.
- Add the 15” cruffles into the inner ring of your wreath alternating colors as you go.
Make and add your tails.
- Take 6 ribbons and cut 6 x 13” pieces of each one.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer 2 tails and add them into the ties. Make sure each tie has a tail made up of 2 ribbon tails.
Add your sign.
- Attach your sign to the middle of your wreath using mounting squares and pipe cleaners.
Add your bow.
- Take 7 ribbons and make bows with 2 big loops each and layer them.
- Secure your bow together with a zip tie or pipe cleaner.
- Add your bow to the bottom right of your sign and secure it with zip ties.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail all your ends.
Add decorations.
- Add in your eyeball decorations.
- Stick some sticky googly eye decorations onto the ribbon.
- Add in your pumpkin decorations.
