Instructions

  • Project #1 - Lantern Swag
  • Using one small floral filler spray, fluff out and rotate some of the leaves down
  • Using a 1-½” ribbon, make a 10” tail, pinch, make a 7” loop, pinch, twist and make two more loops, trim off
  • Tie together with pipe cleaner, trim off excess and attach to spray
  • Fluff the bow around the spray
  • Using a zip tie to attach spray to lantern top
  • Optional: Add a 10” piece of deco mesh attached to the back of spray

Project #2 - Milk Jug

  • Add styrofoam into the jug
  • Cut the greenery spray into pieces and cut at an angle
  • Start adding into the center of the jug, fluff and separate leaves
  • Then use the triangle method to continue adding pieces
  • Working in layers, cut the next greenery at angle and add in between the first layer
  • Separate the foam leaves, cut at an angle, continue in triangle filling in empty spaces
  • Use floral pick, fluff out, pull apart into smaller pieces
  • Add pumpkin offset from the center
  • Add other pieces around the pumpkin;  add floral pick for height when needed
  • Add some berries and leaves in empty spaces
  • Final touch, add airy branches

Project #3 - Centerpiece

  • Using a piece of garland, fluff out branches
  • Use a floral spray, fluff out, add to one of the ends by twisting the pine tines
  • Add second piece and add to opposite end
  • Pull pieces upward so all are not laying down
  • Layer another piece of pick garland and fasten with pine tines
  • Spread out the picks
  • Using 2-½” ribbon 10” tails, make three 7” loops
  • Next layer 1-½” ribbon layer on top
  • Make center loop, tie off with pipe cleaner and add a zip tie
  • Fluff loops and add bow in center of project
  • Spread loops and work in some of the other layers up through the bow
  • Dove tail the ends
  • Make ribbon tails by layering both ribbons together, pinch and attach with a pipe cleaner
  • Tie tail into project, make a roller coaster loop, pinch, and attach to garland, cut off ends
  • Spread out loops and tails
  • Repeat steps 13-15 on opposite side

Project #4 - Another Lantern Swag

  • Using leftover tip from garland, fluff out
  • Add leftover piece of pick garland on top of garland
  • Make bow with 10” tail, pinch, make 7” loops x3 (see project #1)
  • Fasten with pipe cleaner, fluff loops, pull the pick berries through the bow
  • Dovetail the ends
  • Add a piece of 10” mesh behind the bow before adding to the lantern
