Fluff out evergreen swag
Using three colors of 10” deco mesh, cut at 24” x6 each (18 total)
Beginning at the top of the swag base, make woodland ruffles (cruffles)
Add into pine tines alternating colors
On the last cruffle at the bottom, pinch about 2” down from top, place so the longer part is hanging down the tip and fanned out
Repeat the same on the opposite end
Add any leftover pieces of mesh in the center of the base
Layer the larger focal piece on top of base, use the pine tines to tie in
If needed add pipe cleaners to tie to base
Cut 10-12” strip of 4” ribbon, pinch ¾ down and add to top of base
Repeat and add to bottom of base
Continue making ribbon tails with 4” ribbon, adding them throughout the base
Using 2-½” ribbon, make a ribbon tall and add to top of base with pine tines
Continue making ribbon tails and adding throughout the base
Dovetail all tails
Make a bow
Start with ⅞” ribbon, make 10” tails, two 8” loops, another tail
Use another ⅞” ribbon, make 10 ” tails, two 8” loops, another tail
Use 2-½” ribbon, make 10” tails, two 8” loops, another tail
Use 4” ribbon, make10” tails, two 8” loops, another tail
Tie bow in center of base with twist ties
Dovetail tails
Cut picks at angle and add in with hot glue
Determine placement of large jewels/ornaments, add mounting square and attach with pipe cleaners
Cut the greenery and floral pieces off the bushes
Trim stems and add floral pieces with hot glue throughout the base
Add the greenery and floral pieces with hot glue
Add ornament balls; add skewers when needed and add in with hot glue
Optional: add top hat, add jewels to brim
