Adding Florals to a Pancake Wreath

Instructions

Adding florals to a pancake wreath

    Prep your base

    • Start with a 14” pancake wreath (DecoExchange)
    • Take 12 x yellow pipe cleaners and add it to the inner and outer ring of the wreath, securing them by twisting them.
    • Take a 10” mesh (RE134144, DecoExchange) and cut 12 x 20” pieces.
    • Take 6 x pieces of mesh and make ruffles by pinching the ends together.
    • Add 6 x ruffles to the outer ring of the wreath using the pipe cleaners.

    Add your ribbon tails and florals

    • Take 2 x 2.5 ribbons (Blue Polka Dots, RG0520014 & Lemons, 841-40-111) and cut 6 x tails of each.
    • Layer the ribbon in groups of 2 and add it to each of the outer ring ruffles using the pipe cleaners.
    • Dovetail the ends.
    • Take a few yellow filler florals (60919-YEL, DecoExchange) and cut it into a few pieces and add the pieces on top of each of the outer ring ribbon tails using the pipe cleaners.
    • Take a blue cosmos floral bush (36633, DecoExchange) and cut it into a few pieces and add the pieces to the right side on top of each of the outer ring yellow filler floral pieces using the pipe cleaners and glue.
    • Take your glue gun and secure the bundles all around by using glue.

    Add in your second layer of mesh, ribbon tails and florals

    • Take the other 6 x pieces of mesh and make ruffles by pinching the ends together.
    • Add 6 x ruffles to the inner ring of the wreath using the pipe cleaners.
    • Take 2 x 2.5 ribbons (Blue Polka Dots, RG0520014 & Lemons, 841-40-111) and cut 6 x tails of each.
    • Layer the ribbon in groups of 2 and add it to each of the outer ring ruffles using the pipe cleaners.
    • Dovetail the ends.
    • Take a few yellow filler florals (60919-YEL, DecoExchange) and cut it into a few pieces and add the pieces on top of each of the inner ring ribbon tails using the pipe cleaners.
    • Take a blue cosmos floral bush (36633, DecoExchange) and cut it into a few pieces and add the pieces to the right side on top of each of the inner ring yellow filler floral pieces using the pipe cleaners and glue.

    Add in your sign

    • Take your 12” round metal sign (DECOE-386A, DecoExchange) and add wire to the sides of the sign using a hole puncher.
    • Add the sign to the center of the wreath using the wire.

    Make and add your bow

    • Take a 2.5” daisy ribbon (Q501940-644) and make a half bow with 1 loop.
    • Take a 1.5” polka dot ribbon (19182, Sam’s Club) and make a half bow with 1 loop.
    • Take a 1.5” lemon ribbon (841-09-111) and make a half bow with 1 loop.
    • Take a 1.5” plaid ribbon (36919, Sam’s Club) and make a half bow with 1 loop.
    • Layer your half bows.
    • Secure your half bows with a zip tie.
    • Add a wire around the zip tie.
    • Dovetail the ends.
    • Fluff out your half bow.
    • Add your half bow to the bottom left of the wreath using the wire.
    • Fluff out your bow again.
