Bee kind mesh wreath
Materials
- 1 piece wire wreath form
- 1 roll 21” mesh
- 3 rolls 3 different colors of mesh
- 3 rolls 3 ribbons
- 2 pieces cable mounts
- 7 rolls 7 ribbons
- 1 pack pipe cleaner
- 1 unit sign
Instructions
Prepping your base
- Start with a wire wreath form.
- Take a 21” mesh and make 8 x 10” poofs along the inner ring of the wreath.
- Repeat this but make 10 poofs along the outer ring.
- Take 3 different colors of mesh and cut 6 pieces of each color.
- Take a piece of your mesh and make a cruffle by curling the ends in and pinching the middle together.
- Add it into your wreath on top of the ties you used for the poofs.
- Repeat this alternating colors as you and making sure each tie has a cruffle.
Adding your ribbons and sign.
- Take 3 ribbons and cut 6 x 13” pieces of each one.
- Take 3 different ribbons and cut 6 x 13” pieces of each one.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer 2 tails, pinch the middle and add it into your ties.
- Repeat this until all your ties have tails.
- Add cable mounts to the back of your sign and attach it to your wreath.
- Take 7 ribbons and make a big bow with 8” loops and 24” tails.
- Layer the bows as you make them and secure them together with a pipe cleaner or zip tie.
- Attach it under your sign with a long pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow and dovetail the ends.
