Make a Hand Bow
Build from the bottom up
Make a 7” tail, holding between your thumb and forefinger, make an accordion pinch, and a hard twist,
Measure a 7” loop (14” if extended) accordion pinch, a hard twist, and make another loop ensure they are the same size, make tail about 11” or however long you want
Next layer, lay on top of the first layer, make a 7” tail, make loop a little smaller,do an accordion pinch and a hard twist, make another loop
Continue the layers as steps 3-4, continuing to make the loops a little smaller each time
The last layer, make a 7” tail, accordion pinch, a hard twist and make a single loop at about 5” and end with a tail, cut
Attach the layers with a twist tie and twisting it together
Fluff the bow from top to bottom, some tails should be up and some should be down
Dovetail the ends
Tip for one directional ribbon: when making the loops DO NOT fold over and pinch together in your hand
Make a Bow with the EZ Bow Maker
Build from the bottom up
Make an 8” tail, pinch, twist, and put between the bow maker pegs, tail going up,
Make a 7” loop, fold over, pinch, twist and put in bow maker, tail down, cut
Second layer, make the loop a little smaller, fold over, pinch, twist and put in bow maker, tail down, cut
Repeat steps 3-4 for the next two layers
The last layer, make an 8” tail, pinch, twist and make a single loop at about 5” and end with a tail, cut
Attach the layers with a twist tie and twisting it together
Fluff the bow from top to bottom, some tails should be up and some down
Dovetail the ends
Make a Second Hand Bow
Build from the bottom up
Make a 9” tail, measure one 7” loop (14” if extended) accordion pinch, a hard twist, and cut tail
Alternate the second layer, make 8” tail, and make the single loop a little smaller with each layer, 8” tail, cut
Follow the above step for each layer
The last layer, make an 8” tail, pinch, twist and make the single loop at about 5” and end with a tail, cu
Attach the layers with a twist tie and twisting it together
Fluff the bow from top to bottom, cut tails at varying lengths, some long, some shorter, dovetail the ends

Build from the bottom up

Make a Third Hand Bow
Build from the bottom
Make an 8” tail, pinch, twist, make a 8” loop, pinch, twist, make second loop, tail down, cut
Second layer, make 8” tail, and make the three loops, slightly smaller than the previous layer, pinch, twist, tail down, cut
Third layer, make 8” tail, make 2 loops, slightly smaller than the previous layer, pinch, twist, tail down, cut
Repeat step 4 with 8” tails, making 2 loops
The last layer, make an 8” tail, pinch, twist and make the single loop at about 5” and end with a tail, cut
Attach the layers with a twist tie by twisting it together
Fluff the bow from top to bottom, fluff tails in the direction that you would prefer, dovetail the ends
Make a Third Bow with EZ Bow Maker
Build from the bottom up
Make an 8” tail, pinch, twist, and put between the bow maker pegs, make one 7” loop, pinch, twist, tail down, cut
Second layer, make 8” tail, and make the three loops, slightly smaller than the previous layer, pinch, twist, tail down, cut
Third layer, make 8” tail, make 2 loops, slightly smaller than the previous layer, pinch, twist, tail down, cut
Repeat step 4 with 8” tails, making 2 loops
The last layer, make an 8” tail, pinch, twist and make the single loop at about 5” and end with a tail, cut
Attach the layers with a twist tie and twisting it together
Fluff the bow from top to bottom, fluff tails in the direction that you would prefer, dovetail the ends
