Prep your kit
Measure out ribbon and pre- cut the ribbon before the class
Bring pine strip to represent the top of the Christmas tree and show them how to attach the bow to the top of the tree
Clips to hold ribbon layers in place as the bow is being made
Bow
Make a Lisa bow (tails will be opposite as the layers of the ribbons are placed on top of each other)
Layer one: Measure out a 9” tail and a 8” loop on each side
Layer two: Measure out a 7 ½ ” tail and a 7” loop on each side
Layer three: Measure 7” pinch, twist, and a 6 ¾ ” loop on each side
Layer four: Measure 6 ¾ ” pinch, twist and a 6 ½” loop
Center loop: Measure 6.5 tail, pinch twist and loop 3” x two
Take two 20” pipe cleaners and tie together. Wrap around the center of the bow and twist tightly
Dove tail the ends of the ribbon
Fluff out the bow alternating the ribbon layers
Demonstrate how to attach to the top of the tree
Prep
Measure out the ribbon layers for the attachment
Cut the ribbon strips
Demonstrate how to make the bow
Attach the bow to the attachment
