Deco mesh daisy wreath

Equipment

  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Cutting Mat
  • Mesh Cutter

Materials

  • 1 work wreath form
  • 1 21” roll of jute mesh
  • 3 10” rolls of mesh
  • 3 2½” ribbons
  • 3 1½” ribbons
  • 1 large daisy(Hobby Lobby
  • 1 small daisy Hobby Lobby
  • 3 gingham flowers
  • 1 rag bow
  • 2 filler bush
  • pipe cleaners

Instructions

Prepping your base.

  • Take 2 different red mesh and cut 9 x 20” pieces of each one.
  • Start with a wire wreath form with 18 twist ties.
  • Take a burlap mesh and make 12” poofs and along the inner ring, tying them into your inner ring, repeat this process but make the poofs 13” on the outer ring.
  • Take a piece of red mesh and pinch the middle to make a ruffle.
  • Add them into a twist tie.
  • Repeat the same process until all your ties have a ruffle. Alternate colors as you go.

Make and add your ribbon tails

  • Take 6 different ribbons and cut 6 x 13” pieces of each color. Dovetail the ends.
  • Layer 2 ribbons tails ontop of eachother and attach it to a twist tie in the middle. Fluff out the tails.
  • Repeat the same process until all your twist ties have tails. Alternate colors as you go.

Attach your signs and bow.

  • Make a rag bow using the same ribbons and your tails.
  • Attach your bow to the wreath on the bottom right, using garland ties to secure it.
  • Attach pipe cleaners to your daisy signs.
  • Secure your daisy signs to the wreath around your bow, secure them with the pipe cleaners

Adding extra decoration.

  • Take 3 gingham daisy decorations and fluff them out.
  • Take 5-6 sprigs of filler greenery with small red flowers and add them into your wreath in and around your other decorations.
  • Take about 10 sprigs of yellow flowers and secure them into your wreath with hot glue.
