Instructions

Prep your Board

  • Using a plank board cut your board and sand it
  • Use acrylic paint to paint the board

Prep Vinyl Image

  • Weed your image out using an exco knife
  • Pull down your vinyl and get it as close to the surface and slowly peel it
  • Do not throw it away the vinyl you peels off until the project is finished just incase you forgot a dot to an I
  • Now time to weed the image. Grab the middle parts of the letters that didn’t come out
  • Cut contact paper down to size
  • Check to make sure it fits over image, always check twice and cut once
  • Taking your exco knife puncture the corner so you can raise it off the contact sheet
  • Turn image vertically
  • Fold your vinyl like a taco
  • Go right over top of image in the middle and place
  • Then roll it out on each side
  • Using a scraper tool go over top and brunish it. (Rub air out of letters so they stick to sheet)
  • Use spatula and take sheet off mat
  • Now place letters face down
  • Take a corner and turn it and get it started, roll it as close as you can get it and start unrolling it. If you see a letter didn't not get off the white then lay it back down and rub it back on with finger and try again.
  • Must keep it flush with surface
  • Now your image is on transfer sheet

Place Image on sign

  • Fold transfer sheet like a taco and line up bottom of the H with the lip of the board. That way you know it is straight
  • Rub on top of the transfer sheet and then peel the contact paper off keeping it close to the surface. Do not pull up.
  • No need to throw away you can keep that and use again

Attach Embellishment

  • Place hot glue on the back of your ice cream cone and place to the right of the board
  • Place at an angle.

Add Paint Polka Dots

  • Using the end of a sponge brush pour a little paint in the lid and dob it in.
  • Place dots around the ice cream cone and words on sign
