Donut Wreath

Instructions

Prepping your base.

  • Start with an 18” evergreen wreath. Fluff it out.
  • Using 4 different colors of mesh, cut 6 x 15” pieces of each one.
  • Take a piece of mesh, pinch the middle to make a ruffle and add it into your wreath.
  • Repeat this all around the inside of your wreath, alternating colors as you go.
  • Take the other leftover mesh and make a curl, adding it on top of a ruffle of a different color. Repeat this with the rest of your mesh on the inside ring of your wreath.
  • Take the end of your blue mesh roll, pinch the end and add it into your outer ring making an 8” poof. Keep making poofs all around the outside ring, securing them into the ties.
  • Take the end of your purple mesh roll, and repeat the same process under the blue mesh making slightly smaller poofs.
  • Taking some of the pink mesh, make curls and add it into the ties on the outside of the wreath on top of the poofs.

Make and add your bow and tails.

  • Take 2 ribbons and cut 6 x 25” pieces each, make a loop and twist the tails to face forward.
  • Add it a funky bow into a twist tie. Repeat this on the outside and inside every 5”, alternating ribbons as you go
  • Using your first ribbon make a bow with 24” tails and 2 x 6” loops either side.
  • Repeat this process with another ribbon adding it behind your other bow and making your loops slightly smaller.
  • Secure your bows together with a zip tie.
  • Add your bow into your wreath, securing it with a zip tie.
  • Dovetail your ends and curl them in.

Add your decorations.

  • Add in your cake pop decorations. Secure them with hot glue.
  • Add in your foam donut decorations. Secure them in with hot glue.
  • Take a donut pick, separate them and hot glue them into the wreath.
