Easter Forsythia Wreath
Wreath made by upcycling a premade wreath.
Equipment
- Zip Ties
- Wire / Pipe Cleaners
- Scissors
- Wire Cutters
- Wooden Skewers
- Glue Gun
Materials
- 1 ea 24" Premade Forsythia Wreath
- 1 roll 4" wired ribbon
- 1 roll 2.5" wired ribbon
- 1 roll 1.5" wired ribbon
- 2 ea Ferns
- 2 ea Berry Picks
- 1 ea Attachment (focal point)
- 3 ea ornaments / accent pieces
Instructions
- Fluff your 24" premade forsythia wreath
- Get your 2 ferns and start preparing them to be added to your wreath. Cut off the base stem and split it into smaller pieces
- Add the fern pieces into your wreath weaving them in and out of the different textures already in place - in the same direction as the flowers already on it
- Get your 2 berry picks cut into smaller pieces
- Add the berry pieces into your wreath weaving them in and out of the different textures already in place - in the same direction as the flowers and ferns already on it
- Take your foam attachment and place on your wreath. Using a wooden skewer work it through the grapevine and into the foam bunny to hold it into place
- Create your Easter bow and attach it to the wreath
- Add 2 coordinating ribbon tails on each side of the bow to help give it a more symmetrical look
- Add ornaments or accent pieces
