Fall Evergreen with Oranges Tutorial Mesh - Tammy
Equipment
- 10 inch mesh burlap jute
- One ring Walmart form
- Orange slices picks
- Burlap jute picks
- Orange sliced ribbon 2.5 inch
- Green and white check ribbon 1.5 inch
- Orange windowpane jute 2.5 inch
Instructions
Prep you base
- Start with an 18” round evergreen base.
- Fluff out the pine needles.
- Bend the sides to make an oval securing it at the back with pine needles..
- Take a 10” mesh and cut 12 x 20” pieces.
- Take the mesh and make cruffles by curling the ends and pinching the middle together.
- Add the cruffles to the base using the pine needles.
Make and add your bows
- Take 2 ribbons and make a bow with 3 loops each.
- Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 4 loops.
- Layer your bows.
- Secure your bows with a zip tie.
- Add your bow to the top left of the wreath using a pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Take 2 ribbons and make a bow with 4 loops each.
- Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 2 loops.
- Layer your bows.
- Secure your bows with a zip tie.
- Add your bow to the bottom right of the wreath using a pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail the ends.
Add in your picks
- Add in some spiral picks using glue.
- Add in a few orange slice picks.
- Add in some ball picks.
Make and add in your ribbon tails
- Take 1 ribbon and cut a few pieces to make ribbon tails.
- Add the ribbon tails to the empty spots on the wreath.
- Dovetail the ends.
