Fall In Love with Fall Pumpkin Wreath

Instructions

  • Prep the Evergreen Base
  • Fluff the evergreen base
  • Begin with 21” deco mesh, make 10” poufs on the inside ring x8; fluff the poufs
  • Add in the fall leaf garland tying into the pine tines just under the poufs
  • Using 30” cruffles, add into the outer ring of the base under the leaves
  • Continue adding cruffles until base is full
  • Squeeze the base together to make slightly oval
  • Decide where you want to put the pumpkins
  • Prep the pumpkins by placing three points of contact by sticking in u-pins
  • Add pipe cleaners to pins and hot glue; repeat on the second pumpkin
  • Add pumpkins to wreath after hot glue has dried by running pipe cleaners through the mesh, add more hot glue to base of pumpkins
  • Make a Hand Bow
  • Build from top to bottom
  • Using 1-½” ribbon, make a 8” tail down, and make two 13” loops, 8” tail up, cut
  • Using 1-½” ribbon, make a 8” tail down, and make two12” loops, 8” tail up, cut
  • Using 1-½” ribbon, make a 8” tail down and make two 12” loops, 8” tail up, cut
  • Using 2-½” ribbon, make a 8” tail down and make two 13” loops, 8” tail up, cut
  • Using 2-½” ribbon, make a 8” tail down and make two 13” loops, 8” tail up, cut
  • Attach layers with a zip tie and add a pipe cleaner before cinching closed
  • Add bow to wreath with pipe cleaners and fluff and dovetail ends
  • Add tails to the bottom and throughout the wreath base
  • Finishing Touches
  • Cut sprays, picks, florals, and leaves off the stems
  • Add the pieces throughout the wreath using hot glue
  • Make a half bow, starting with 1-½” ribbons, making 1 loop and 2 tails with each ribbons
  • Continue with the 2-½” ribbons
  • Each layer should be slightly larger loop than the one before
  • Attach the layers with a zip tie, adding a pipe cleaner before cinching closed
  • Attach half bow to wreath with pipe cleaner through the mesh
  • Fluff the bow and dovetail the ends
  • Add a few florals or leaves in the bow
