Farmhouse Wreath with Burlap

Instructions

  • Prep your base
  • Cut deco mesh in 19” strips x 18 times
  • Fold mesh about ½”, then ruffle up the middle
  • Add ruffle in twist tie on wreath base; twist twice
  • Cut burlap mesh  in 19” strips x 18 times
  • Ruffle up the middle, open twist tie and add on top of deco mesh, twist back
  • Once all mesh and burlap has been added, pull away from center
  • Prep your metal sign
  • Punch a two holes in the metal sign, top and bottom
  • Place in center of wreath, and attached to wreath base
  • Make bow
  • Use E-Z bow maker
  • Layer one: make 8” tail, twist and make 7” loop on each side; make 2 more loops and end with 8”tail
  • Layer two: make 8” tail, twist and make 6” loop on each side; make 2 more loops and end with 8” tail
  • Layer three: Add a tail about 12” long
  • Layer four: make a 8” tail, twist and make 5” loop on each side; make 2 more loops and end with 8” tail
  • Layer five: make a 8” tail, 4” loop twist, make one more 4”loop and 8” tail
  • Attach pipe cleaner to center of bow, twist together
  • Position bow on wreath
  • Trim tails as needed; Optional: you can add a touch of hot glue to loops to hold in place
  • Prep florals
  • Cut florals from stems
  • Add around bow by adding to twist ties with a dab of hot glue
  • Add greenery in any empty spaces with a dab of hot glue
