Instructions

Prep 12 inch Wreath Form

  • Attach 12 pipe cleaners to your wire wreath form by attaching and giving a good twist. Make sure they are even before twisting.

Cut Mesh

  • Cut 12 20 inch mesh strips.

Attach Mesh

  • Ruffle your mesh by laying it flat and gathering it together from one end to the next. I do it this way because it is border mesh. Lay it horizontally like a butterfly in the middle of your pipe cleaner.
  • Add some leftover red mesh that is measuring 10 inches. Using 6 pieces I am attaching these to your wreath mixing them into the already placed mesh. Roll these and attach to the outside only.

Cut Ribbon Tails

  • Cut 12 14 inch pieces of 3 different colored ribbons. You can use your school colors.

Attach Ribbon Tails

  • Layer two ribbons together and dove tail the ends and lay them in your pipe cleaners and twist to secure.
  • Repeat this all the way around your wreath. As well as in the inner circle of your wreath.

Add Funky tails

  • Take a 26 ribbon and fold it in half, then fold it like a taco and dove tail it.
  • Now pinch her neck, fluff her hair, kick her leg up and twist her booty around. You really want two pretty sides showing.
  • Repeat this for every other pipe cleaner attachment.

Make Bow

  • Make 8.5 inch loops, and make 4 loops. Pinch in the middle and then add some yard line ribbon to this bow by putting it right on top and pinching it. Come in with your loops about a half an inch and make two loops. Then cut. Secure with a pipe cleaner.

Clean up wreath

  • Go through and cut your pipe cleaners down. You should have 12 cuts once all are trimmed.

Attach Wreath

  • Using pipe cleaner and twist it secured to your wreath form. Work from behind to make sure you are getting it nice and tight. Then clip the excess off. Then add hot glue.

Attach Sign

  • Apply mounting strips to the back of your sign. Then thread pipe cleaners through. Use pipe cleaners to attach to wreath. Attach to the right side opposite of bow.

Add Ball Picks

  • Using hot glue add in some black and white ball picks in and around your bow. You do not need a lot.
