Football Wreath with no Copywrite Infringement

Instructions

Prep Wreath

  • Fluff the branches of your 18” evergreen wreath base.

Add Mesh

  • Grab your 21” mesh and start with a large single loop and secure with pine tines. Continue looping your mesh throughout the wreath base until most of the evergreen is covered.
  • Trim the end of your gold mesh to start with a clean end. Make smaller gold poufs throughout the perimeter of your wreath base to add a touch of gold.

Prep Sign

  • Prep any signs you are using and hot glue wall mounts to the back where needed.

Add Ribbon Tails

  • With your team colors ribbon, use your perfect tails tool and wrap them around 10 times for 10 ribbon tails of each color.
  • Stack one of each color and dovetail each end. Take each pair of ribbon tails, cinch in the center and insert into the base with your pine tines. Continue throughout the wreath and adjust the tails making sure they are all pointing to the outside. Use additional zip ties if necessary.
  • Work along the inner and outer rings, leaving a space for a bow.

Make and Add Bow

  • Cut a 24” length of your pigskin ribbon and make a single loop. Add throughout your wreath and dovetail each end.
  • Grab your 2 ½” ribbon and make a bow with 4 large loops. Layer the pigskin ribbon with 4 loops. Add your last 2 ½” team color ribbon with 2 loops. Lastly, add the football ribbon with 4 loops. Secure in the center with a zip tie. Feed a second zip tie through the back to attach your bow to your wreath base. Cut the bow tails at an angle or dovetail and roll the ends with your fingers.

Add Embellishments

  • Hot glue a wood skewer on the back of your football ornaments. Set aside and let dry.
  • Take your football signs and attach onto your wreath with a zip tie or a pipe cleaner through your hanger on the back.
  • Insert your football ornament craft picks throughout the wreath where you’d like. Make any adjustments you need and enjoy!
