Frankie Mesh Wreath

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with an 18” evergreen wreath frame.
  • Fluff out your pine needles.
  • Take a 10” roll of mesh, take the end of it, make an 8-10” poof and secure it into a pine needle.
  • Take the mesh and keep making poofs along the upper ring.
  • After the inside ring, make poofs along the outside ring making them slightly bigger.
  • Take a different mesh and cut 20” pieces.
  • Make a ruffle by pinching the middles together and add it into a pine needle.
  • Add a piece of mesh into every second pine needle tie.

Make and add your bow.

  • Take 2 x 12” pipe cleaners and secure them together to make 1 long pipe cleaner.
  • Using different ribbons, make 6 bows.
  • The first bow will have a 7” loop either side and 12” tails. Every bow after that will have slightly smaller loops.
  • Add your bow into your pipe cleaner and twist it, as you make them layer them on top.
  • Secure your bow together with a pipe cleaner.
  • Flip your stack over and tighten your pipe cleaner.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Dovetail your ends.
  • Attach your bow to the wreath using the pipe cleaner.
  • Cut some 7” tails and add them into your wreath.
  • Make some funky bows with 1 loop and add a few around the edges of your wreath.

Add your sign.

  • Take your sign and attach a cable mount to the back. Let dry.
  • Add a pipe cleaner into the mount and attach it into your wreath.

  • Add in some purple flowers.
  • Add in some greenery and some fun picks around the flowers.
