Graduation Centerpiece - Coach Jordan
Equipment
- 3 Foam Rounds Dollar Tree
- 1 Sheet of Foam Board
- 1 7/8" or .75 black ribbon
- Black Felt
- Black Ribbon
- 2 10" mesh in school colors
Instructions
Prep your base.
- Start by gluing 3 x 5” foam rounds together.
- Stabilize the foam rounds by using skewers.
- Take the foam rounds and cover the top of it with felt pieces using glue.
- Take a glitter ribbon and cover the sides of the foam rounds using glue.
- Take the foam rounds and cover the bottom of it with felt pieces using glue.
Make and add your graduation cap.
- Take a sheet of foam and cut 2 x 10”x10” squares.
- Take the 2 foam squares and glue them together.
- Take the square and cover it with felt using glue.
- Take a ribbon and cover the edges of the square using glue.
- Add the squares to the round base using glue.
Add your mesh.
- Take 2 types of 10” mesh and cut 6 x 10” pieces of each.
- Take 2 pieces of mesh and fold the corners together and pinch the bottom together.
- Add the mesh to the graduation cap using a u-pin and glue.
- Repeat 1-3 for all the mesh.
- Fluff out the mesh.
