Instructions
Create the Base Layer:
Start by shaping and securing the clematis leaf stems to form the overall outline of the garland across the arch.
Use floral wire or zip ties to secure each stem in place along the curve of the arch.
Add Ruscus and Ferns:
Alternate adding rabbit fern and sage ruscus stems throughout the base.
Tuck in pieces to fill any sparse areas and extend greenery down each side for a flowing, draping look.
Layer in Mini Leaf Branches:
Add the mini leaf branches throughout to break up the greens and provide visual texture.
Make and Attach the Bows:
Create three multi-loop bows using all three ribbons.
Place one large bow in the center and one on each side of the garland.
Secure tightly using wire or zip ties.
Finishing Touches:
Dovetail ribbon tails for a clean finish.
Adjust the greenery and bows for balance and dimension.
Use hot glue to secure any loose elements.
