Halloween Double Wreath - Meghan

Materials

  • Straw wreath 14” Amazon
  • Black roses 10 pack Amazon X002IAOSY5
  • 2 pack crows X002MRMJIV
  • 1 4” Boo ribbon 93974W-982-10D
  • 1 ⅞” Black ribbon RC500502
  • 1 2.5” orange and black stripe fuzzy edge ribbon 90977W-517-40H
  • 1 1.5” yellow 50 yard ribbon RC500029
  • 1 1.5” black and white ribbon 90251W-031-09J

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with 2 x 14” round straw wreath bases.
  • Take caution tape and wrap it around the wreath bases using u-pins and glue.
  • Take a 24” round evergreen wreath base.
  • Fluff out the pine needles.
  • Take a 21” mesh and cut 6 x 24”.
  • Take 2 types of 10” mesh and cut 7 x 24” of each.
  • Take the 21” mesh and curl in the ends and pinch the sides together.
  • Take the 10” mesh and make cruffles by curling in the edges and pinching the middle together.
  • Add the mesh to the inner and outer ring of the wreath, alternating colors as you go.
  • Take the round wreath and make it into an oval shape using zip ties.
  • Add your 2 x 14” wreath on top of the evergreen wreath using zip ties.

Make and add your bow.

  • Take 4 ribbons and make a bow with 2 loops of each.
  • Take 1 ribbon and cut a piece to add a tail.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 1 loop.
  • Layer your bows and ribbon tails.
  • Secure your bow and ribbon tails with pipe cleaners.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Add your bow to the right of the wreath.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Add the bow to the wreath, making a loop with the ribbon tail.
  • Repeat above instruction 9-11 around the wreath.

Add in your greenery and florals.

  • Add in some black roses.
  • Add in a few black leaves.
  • Add in some crow birds.
