How to Attach a Sign Extender to a Sign

Materials

  • Sign Extender
  • Metal Sign
  • Wood Sign
  • Dollar Tree sign
  • Dap Rapid Fuse glue
  • 10 inch mesh
  • 2, 2.5 inch ribbons

Instructions

How to attach a sign extender to a metal sign:

  • Take your metal sign and punch 2 x tiny holes to the bottom of the sign using a metal cutter.
  • Funnel a 22 gauge wire through the hole.
  • Take your sign extender and add drops of rapper fuse glue to the back of it.
  • Take your sign extender and feed the wire through and place it to the back of the sign.
  • Use clippers to keep the sign and sign extender secure until the glue is dry.
  • Twist the wire to keep the sign extender attached.

How to attach a sign extender to a wooden sign:

  • Take your 10 x 10 square wooden sign and add your sign extender to the back of the wooden sign using a staple gun with 4 x 3/8” light duty staples.

How to attach a sign extender to a cardboard sign:

  • Take your cardboard sign and attach the sign extender to the bottom back of the cardboard sign using glue and temporarily secure it with clamps.
