Materials

  • zip ties
  • U Pins/ Floral pins
  • 2.5” Red with lime green pom pom sku#X919940-13
  • 2.5” Red and white stripe with lime green tinsel edge sku#71116-40-29
  • 1.5” Red, white, and green strip sku#RGA1204YX
  • ⅞” Red sku#RC500524 
  • 1.5” Swiss dot with scallop edge sku#RG08869T9
  • 1.5” Pastel tribal print sku#RGE109113
  • 1.5” Pink scalloped edge sku#RGC1302EH

How To Use Scrap Ribbon

    Option 1: Scrap Bows

    • Start by finding 5 types of scrap ribbon.
    • Take a 2.5” red with lime green pom pom (#X919940-13) and cut it into 2 pieces.
    • Pinch each piece in the middle and lay it over each other.
    • Take a 2.5” red and white stripe with lime green tinsel edge (#71116-40-29) and make a bow with 1 loop.
    • Take a 1.5” swiss dot with scallop edge (#RG08869T9) and make a bow with 1 loop.
    • Take a 1.5” red, white, and green strip (#RGA1204YX) and make a bow with 1 loop.
    • Take a ⅞” red (#RC500524) and make a bow with 1 loop.
    • Layer your ribbon and bows.
    • Secure your ribbon and bows with a zip tie.
    • Add a u-pin or another zip tie to the back of the bow using the zip tie.
    • Fluff out your bow.
    • Trim your ends at an angle.
    • Add your bow to your desired design.

    Option 2: Foam bases

    • Start by cutting a piece of ribbon (1.5” pink scalloped edge #RGC1302EH)
    • Dovetail the ends.
    • Pinch the ribbon and add a zip tie and u-pin to the pinched part.
    • Add the ribbon to the foam block of the centerpiece using the u-pin and glue.

    OR

    • Take a piece of ribbon (1.5” pastel tribal print #RGE109113) and make a half bow with 1 loop.
    • Add a u-pin to the center of the bow.
    • Add the bow to the foam block of the centerpiece using the u-pin and glue.
    • Dovetail the ends.
