Instructions

Prepare the Mesh Base:

  • Cut the mesh into 16 pieces for a 20-inch base. Adjust if using different sized bases (e.g., 18 pieces for a 24-inch base).

Assemble the Mesh on the Base:

  • Start by adding poufs around the wreath base.
  • Add ruffles by cutting additional mesh (about 20 inches each) and placing them on the outer ring of the wreath.
  • Alternate the colors (burgundy, gold, blue) to create a pattern.

Add Stems and Picks:

  • Group the stems and picks into bundles. Include glittered bay leaves, metallic boxwood, glittered eucalyptus, cotton metallic apple leaves, and baby leaves.
  • Layer the stems to create a full, dimensional look. Secure each bundle with zip ties.
  • Attach the bundles to the wreath base, spacing them evenly.

Create and Add Ribbons:

  • Using the 3/4" ribbon, create 2 x 12" loop.
  • Add each layer of ribbon, adding an inch to the loops as you layer.
  • Make a large bow using a mix of ribbons, ensuring to include both neutral and glittered options.
  • Attach the bow to the center of the wreath, weaving the ribbon tails through the wreath.

Add Finishing Touches:

  • Insert additional decorative elements like glittered stems, large bows, and any additional picks to fill in gaps.
  • Use hot glue to secure any loose ends or to attach additional elements like ornaments, flowers, or other seasonal decorations.

Final Adjustments:

  • Fluff the mesh and ribbons to ensure the wreath looks full and balanced.
  • Make any necessary trims to ensure a neat finish.
  • If desired, add a focal flower or large ornament to the center for an extra touch.
