Ladybug Wreath Under $25

Equipment

  • wood burner tool or mesh cutter
  • Scissors

Materials

  • Dollar Tree Frame
  • 16 Pipe Cleaners
  • 1 roll of 10" mesh
  • 4 rolls of Sams or Value 1.5" ribbon
  • 1 sign

Instructions

  • Cut your mesh into 24 pieces at 10" and 6 pieces at 20"
  • Put 1 pipe cleaner at each cross bar on the outside of the frame, make sure the twist sits "on top" of frame
  • Put 1 pipe cleaner between the cross bar sections on the inside of the frame, make sure twists sit "on top" of the frame
  • in the 6 outside twists, add 2 curls, then a 10" ruffle on top facing the opposite direction
  • in the 6 inside twists add a 20" ruffle, then a 10" ruffle on top facing the opposite direction
  • alternate your 14" ribbon tails around the frame

Measurements for the bow

  • 12" tail, 7" loop, 7" loop, 8" tail
  • 8" tail, 6.5" loop, 6.5" loop, 12" tail
  • 12" tail, 6" loop, 6" loop, 8" tail
  • 8" tail, 5.5" loop, 5.5" loop, 12" tail

Attach sign

  • Add holes to the sign using a metal hole punch
  • Use a pipe cleaner to attach the sign.
