Lavender Moss Wreath

Equipment

  • 1 Scissors
  • 1 Wire cutter or stem cutter
  • 1 Hot glue gun
  • Flat head screwdriver
  • Ice pick

Materials

  • 1 14" Moss wreath base
  • 1 2.5" ribbon
  • 3 flocked spring Lavender sprays
  • 2 Wisteria blooms
  • pipe cleaners

Instructions

  • Layout your lavender sprays to get an idea how you want them to sit.
  • Trim your sprays accordingly.
  • Using your flat head and ice pick to create holes to secure sprays.
  • Hot glue sprays in place.
  • Next add Wisteria blooms. Adjust the stems and sprays so they are not laying flat.
  • Add additional florals as needed.
  • Using your ribbon create 8" tails and pinch.
  • Create 6" loops, pinching and twisting until you have 4 loops.
  • Leave an 8" tail. Then cut away from spool.
  • Add another 2 tails to your bow.
  • Secure with a pipe cleaner. Trim excess pipe cleaner.
  • Dovetail the ends of the tails.
  • Secure the bow to the moss base using pipe cleaners.
  • Fluff bow.
  • Start incorporating some of the floral stems into the bow.
  • Add additional stems as desired.
