Merry & Bright Christmas Swag

Instructions

Prep Your Swag

  • Fluff Swag.
  • Fold end of mesh to create a loop.
  • Make loops all down the swag and secure in a pine branch on your swag.
  • Follow down the left side, making loops smaller going down.
  • Work your way up the right side mirroring the size of the left side.
  • Bring your mesh down the middle making loops and twisting into pine branches.

Add Mesh Curls

  • Cut 6- 17” mesh pieces in 3 different colors.
  • Curl the ends into each other to make curls.
  • Twist curls into pine branches on the swag.
  • Alternate colors around the swag.

Add Ornaments

  • Cut small holes in the bottom of the ornaments.
  • Weave a pipe cleaner through the holes.
  • Attach pipe cleaners through the swag and twist around to secure.
  • Weave floral wire through ornaments, and attach the first to the second to make it more stable.

Make A Bow

  • Measure your tail and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Layer another ribbon on top and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Add a thinner ribbon on top and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Secure together with zip tie.
  • Dovetail the ends.
  • Twist bow with a pine tie in your swag.
  • Repeat process to make another identical bow.
  • Attach second bow to the bottom of the swag.

Add Accents

  • Add hot glue to the snowflakes.
  • Attach snowflakes to swag.
  • Add hot glue to the bottom of the ornaments.
  • Glue ornaments into swag.
  • Repeat process with more snowflakes and ornaments where needed.

Add Ribbon Loops

  • Twist end of ribbon into a pine branch at the top of the swag.
  • Create loops down the swag and twist into pine branches.
  • Repeat process on opposite side.
