Instructions

Prep your base

  • Start with an evergreen wreath base.
  • Push the sides together to make the base an oval shape.
  • Fluff out the pine needles.
  • Take a 10” mesh and add it all around the inner ring of the base using the pine ties.
  • Take 3 x 10” mesh and cut 4 x 24” pieces of each.
  • Take the mesh and make cruffles by curling in the edges and pinching the middle together.
  • Add the cruffles to the outer ring of the mesh, alternating colors as you go.

Add in your decoration

  • Add in your nativity scene to the center of the wreath using pipe cleaners.

Make and add your half bow

  • Take 5 ribbons and make a half bow with 1 loop each.
  • Take 1 ribbon to make a tail.
  • Take 1 ribbon and make a half bow with 1 loop.
  • Layer your half bows and tail.
  • Secure your half bows with a zip tie.
  • Fluff out your half bow.
  • Add your half bow to the bottom right of the wreath using a pipe cleaner.
  • Dovetail the ends.

Add in your ribbon tails

  • Take 3 ribbons and cut a few pieces of each to make ribbon tails.
  • Add the ribbon tails around the wreath, alternating types as you go.
  • Take 1 ribbon and add it to the left side of the wreath making a loop.
  • Take 1 ribbon and add it to the right side of the wreath making a loop.
  • Dovetail the ends.

Add in your stems and ornaments

  • Add in a large ornament to the bottom of the wreath using a zip tie.
  • Add in a few large jewels using pipe cleaners or zip ties.
  • Add in some ball ornaments using pipe cleaners.
  • Add in a few fern stems.
  • Add in some honey locust stems.
  • Add in a few flocked pine stems.
