Naughty & Nice Christmas Swag

Instructions

Prep Your Swag

  • Fluff your swag.
  • Fold end of mesh into a loop and secure in a pine branch at the top of the swag.
  • Make poofs down the left side of the swag, getting smaller in each poof.
  • Do the same going up the right side of the swag in the same size poofs as the left.
  • Bring your mesh poofs down the middle of the swag.

Add Mesh Curls

  • Cut 5 17” pieces of mesh in 2 different colors.
  • Curl ends of mesh together to create a ruffle.
  • Twist curls into the swag by securing to pine branches.
  • Alternate colors down the sides of the swag.
  • Continue down the middle of the swag.

Make Bow Loops

  • Measure ribbon 23” long in 2 different colors.
  • Make 1 loop with the ribbon and twist in the middle.
  • Twist loops into the swag on both sides.

Add Elf

  • Weave wire attachment through the swag, and twist around the back.
  • Make tiny holes in the legs to weave a pipe cleaner through.
  • Weave pipe cleaners through the swag and twist to secure.

Make A Bow

  • Measure a long tail and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Layer another ribbon on top and make a bow with 4 loops.
  • Secure together with a pipe cleaner.
  • Wrap bow around the pine branches on top to secure to swag.
  • Trim the tails and curl.

Add Sprays & Candy Embellishments

  • Trim stems of the sprays.
  • Add hot glue to the bottom of the stems.
  • Weave stems into the swag.
  • Repeat process with candy embellishments.

Add Candy Ornaments & Picks

  • Add hot glue to the bottom of the candy ornaments.
  • Glue ornaments into swag.
  • Add candy picks into swag with drop of hot glue.
  • Glue in any extra ornaments around swag.

Add Ribbon Tails

  • Cut ribbon tails to 26”.
  • Layer 3 ribbon tails together.
  • Twist tails into a pine branch at the bottom.
  • Dovetail the ends and curl.
