Prep The Sign
Using acrylic paint, paint the blank board
Lay aside to dry completely
See circuit tutorial below to complete project
Weed the vinyl for the sign
Cut a piece of contact paper
Add sticky side down on vinyl and scrape
Trim the design as close as you can get and rub over the design
Prep the Evergreen Base
Squish base into an oval
Fluff all the pine tines
Use 21” mesh, to create 10” poufs on the middle of base
Add a piece of garland layered on top of the 21”mesh, attach with the pine tines
Using two colors of 10” mesh, cut at 20” x6 of each color
Make ruffles with 10” mesh and add to outer ring, alternating the colors
Using one of the 10” mesh and make 8” poufs on the inside of the base using the pine tines
With a 2-½” ribbon, make a double roller coaster loop and dovetail on one side
Make a one loop roller coaster and dovetail on the opposite side
Make a Bow
Using 2-½” ribbon, dovetail the 8” tail, make an 8” loop twist and make another 8” loop X2, make an 8” tail and dovetail
For second layer repeat the above, making 6” loops X4
Third layer, use another 2-½” repeat step 2, making 5” loops x4
Last layer, just make a tail and dovetail the ends; just lay on top
Fasten bow with pipe cleaner
Fluff the bow and attach to the oval base with the garland ties
To make Funky Tails take about 22” of the 2-½” ribbon, fold in half and pinch about 4” down, twist one tail to front, dovetails
Using 1-½” tails, cut 14”, fold in half, dovetail an add into a few spots
Complete The Sign
Add hot glue to eye attachment and add to painted sign blank
Continue scraping the back of the vinyl
Place the vinyl on the sign and peel backing off carefully
Add hardware mounts to the back of the sign, add pipe cleaners and attach to wreath
Adding the Picks
Trim all the picks and cut at angle
Attach curl picks around the outside of the base with hot glue
Trim the corkscrew picks in two colors, add hot glue and place in empty spaces
Trim off the ball garlands and add throughout the base
Add a ball ornament in the center of the bow

Go to New Project
Text and type out
To find a font, type Halloween in the search bar
Click Make It
Check size and orientation
Hit continue
Double check the printer function
Click Smart Vinyl Permanent
Make sure it’s blinking (ready to print)
Load material
Click Go
