Instructions

Download your template

  • Cut out both lines on pattern
  • The smallest one is the foam board
  • The biggest is the fabric

Make Head First

  • Place a pipe cleaner to start after you decide how you will attach to wreath
  • Make the nose by placing the foam board piece on top of black felt, using a small hot glue gun go around and place a little bit on at a time and fold over the felt. Except leave a little spot open to put a little bit of polyfill in. Do this a bit at a time till you make your way all the way around. Hold it down with your fingers to make sure it is sealed.
  • Then you can cut off the big hunks of fabric that are sticking up after you glued it all.
  • Place the white piece from pattern on the front of the nose
  • Make eyes by layering black onto white. Make sure you place the patterns opposite
  • Attach eyelashes where you want them, glue them between the layers of felt
  • To make the snout place the foam board onto the felt piece. Cut a slit in the fabric so you can stretch it over that portion.
  • Glue just like you did the nose. Leaving a spot open to stuff with polyfill. Glue closed
  • Using black yarn drape over the little v section and glue and let sit.
  • Pull it pretty tight and glue on the other side
  • Glue tongue on bottom
  • Glue nose to top opposite of tongue
  • Using face foam board and felt glue those together.
  • Now work on the ears the same away. Just going all the way around leaving the straight edge open. Let cool and then add polyfill
  • Stuff both ears with polyfill and closed tight. Use your fingers to really get it in there!
  • Attach muzzle using glue and place where you want and hold down tight for 30 seconds
  • Add brown eye piece tuck them behind the nose
  • Add eye fabric pieces using glue. Work with your placement the way you want them.
  • Attach ears by sliding behind the face and adding hot glue on the edge

Make Top Hat

  • Using foam board and felt piece glue them together. Do not put polyfill in this part.
  • Glue red and white fabric to top. Nothing fancy
  • Add ribbon and stars to decorate the hat
  • Attach using hot glue after deciding where you want the hat to go on the dog

Make body and attach to head

  • Using foam board and fabric secure them together
  • Attach legs to body and hold to make sure they are adhered to each other.
  • Arms are just fabric glued together and no polyfill in these. You can add if you want.

Attach head to body

  • Just place it right in that channel. Place down first before glueing so you make sure you are happy with placement
  • Add glue and hold down

Attach tail to back

    Add Embellishments

    • You can add a bandana around his neck and place a flag in his hands.
