Prep the Base
Attach the bunny as the focal piece on the base by centering on the bottom
Add skewers at an angle through the base of wreath and bunny bottom from both sides
Add skewers behind the bunny ears by pushing them through the base and either into the ears or into the head
Trim off excess skewers
Add dab of hot glue to the entry points of the skewers
Add Floral Stems
Cut the floral stems off the bush at an angle (remove the leaves)
Bend the stems slightly
Lay out the stem pieces to visualize placement; alternate the different lengths
Start with the longer piece in center of base
Add other pieces to the left and right of the center piece approximately 1-2” apart
Fill in gaps with shorter stems
Add a dab of hot glue on each
Build out the Bow
Use zip ties to attach ribbon to base
Begin by adding zip tie midway up from the bottom of base
Space each of the zip ties approximately 4-6” apart;
With a 6” tail, attach the ribbon in the first tie
Make a large billow, about 6-8” and attach to the next tie
Cut a 6-8” tail
Do the same steps as 4-6 in reverse
End with a 6” tail
Remove the excess zip ties
Prep Egg Ornaments
Remove the ribbon from the ornament attachments
Decide where you want to place the attachments
Add a skewer to bottom of egg to create a pick
Add some hot glue to secure eggs in place
Put in place after you have added some of the additional florals (see next section)
Add Additional Florals
Cut second floral stems off bush (don’t use leaves)
Leave stems long
Begin adding them around the wreath
Keep in mind the placement of your bow and egg ornaments
Bend the stems just a little bit
Continue adding until all stems are placed
Prepare the next floral picks, cutting of the stem (do not use the leaves)
Make Hand Bow
Start with about 12” ribbon tail
Walk the ribbon together, make a loop from back to front, walk it together: it should be a good pleat and lay it right on top of the other
Give it a hard twist;
Make another loop from back to front and walk it together; place it right on top of the other loops
Make sure the tails and the loops are even
When making more than two loops of the same ribbon, be sure to measure the loops to ensure they are the same size
Hard twist another loop from back to front
Make another loop from back to front and walk it together; place it right on top of the other loops
Take a zip tie and loop it around the middle of the bow and close
Put another zip tie in the center of the base where the bow will go
Place the bow in the middle and close the zip tie
Fluff out the bow; cut off excess zip tie
Trim tail and curl both ends
Dovetail the smaller tails
Add a floral piece in the center of the bow to cover the zip tie
Add other floral pieces to fill in any empty spaces
