Pumpkin Centerpiece - Meghan

Instructions

  • Starting with a pumpkin shaped board and add a square piece of styrofoam in center with hot glue
  • Using a greenery bush cut stems off into smaller pieces, cut at angle
  • Place one in each of the sides of the styrofoam, place one in the top center, near the back
  • Prep two pumpkins, make a hole on the side you want to attach to the base and add hot glue and nub or skewer
  • Add one of the pumpkins to the center of the base
  • Add some pieces of grasses, cut stem at angle, separate into smaller pieces
  • Cut at angles and add pieces into corners with hot glue
  • Bring the next layer of grasses up higher and working some pieces under the first layer
  • Next use a mixed greenery bush, cut 5 stems off at an angle, fluff them
  • Add to empty holes at varying heights
  • Add stem to the second pumpkin with hot glue, make another hole in the first pumpkin where the second one will be attached.
  • Make a bow with a 2-1/2” ribbon,2 tails at 8”, 2 loops at 6”, tie off with pipe cleaner
  • Using a u-pin, add under the pipe cleaner and wrap around each side, add hot glue
  • Add bow to base, fluff out loops and tails, cut tails at an angle
  • Add a ribbon tails to the back of the centerpiece, where there might be holes, working in a triangle; cut tails at an angle
  • Using the filler bush, cut pieces off, add in empty spaces
  • Continue to add pieces of the filler bush, remembering to add in a triangle and filling in any empty spaces
  • Using a floral spray, cut off blooms, add three blooms with hot glue
  • Add a small pumpkin in the same manner as the others
