Rag Garland

Instructions

Prep your Fat Quarter pieces

  • Iron 6 fat quarter fabric
  • Cut them into pieces using scissors cutting them about three quarters of an inch
  • If you have 5 colors you need 12 pieces each

Measure Twine

  • Measure out length you Want rag Garland
  • Make a loop at the end of each side of the twine and make a little knot

Add fabric to twine

  • Start in the center with which color you want to start with
  • Line the ends and make pattern sides facing you.
  • Place the loop above the twine and feed the two bottom tails through the opening and pull tight.
  • Once it is tight pull the tails apart
  • Continue down each side alternating colors

Add in fun things

  • You can add in beads, different ribbon, and different length fabric too!
