Summer Floral Garland

Equipment

Materials

  • 41" Plain Evergreen Garland Base available at Amazon, Walmart, DecoExchange, At Home Store, etc.
  • Blue Ficus – DecoExchange SKU# FG633742
  • Yellow Poppy and White Rose Pick – DecoExchange SKU# 64976
  • Purple Flowers – DecoExchange SKU# 83416-PU
  • Pink Mini Ranunculus – Walmart SKU# Coral/MS1636222663B53
  • White and Yellow Poppy Bush – DecoExchange SKU# FB1963J7
  • 2.5" Natural Burlap Ribbon
  • Zip Ties

Instructions

Prep the Garland Base:

  • Lay out the 41" evergreen garland and fluff the branches evenly on both sides.
  • Secure the ends to your workspace with clips or weights so it stays in place.

Layer in the Blue Ficus:

  • Add sprigs of blue ficus to either side of the garland for a full, wispy base.
  • Secure with hot glue or wire, keeping spacing balanced across the length.

Add Focal Floral Picks:

  • Use the yellow poppy and white rose picks to add pops of brightness.
  • Place one near the center and scatter others evenly toward the ends.

Add Accent Flowers:

  • Mix in purple flowers and pink mini ranunculus throughout for contrast.
  • Tuck in white and yellow poppy stems to fill gaps and add height.

Create and Attach Bows:

  • Use 2.5” burlap ribbon to create 3 large single-loop bows with tails.
  • Space them evenly across the garland: one center, two toward the ends.
  • Attach with ip ties.

Finishing Touches:

  • Fluff all flowers and bows.
  • Dovetail ribbon ends and trim any excess stems.
  • Use hot glue to secure loose pieces.
