Instructions

  • Prep the Garland Base:
  • Cut the 9ft flocked garland down to 6ft and fluff out the branches to create a full, even shape.
  • Add Mesh Layers:
  • Cut 10” mesh into 10"-12" pieces and create simple ruffles.
  • Alternate pink and yellow mesh ruffles across the length of the garland, attaching with zip ties or pipe cleaners.
  • Insert Large Florals:
  • Begin with the yellow hibiscus, orange roses, and pink florals.
  • Space them evenly across the garland, using hot glue to secure.
  • Add Filler Florals:
  • Tuck in the yellow astilbe, pink berries, and pink bud floral fillers to fill any gaps and add texture.
  • Make and Attach Bows:
  • Create several small 3-5 loop bows using your selected ribbons.
  • Mix textures and patterns for interest.
  • Secure bows with zip ties and glue into the garland at even intervals.
  • Finishing Touches:
  • Dovetail all ribbon ends.
  • Add smaller clusters of ribbon tails between the bows to help spread the color evenly.
  • Fluff, adjust, and glue down any loose areas.
