Instructions

Prepping your base.

  • Start with a wire wreath form.
  • Take a 21” burlap mesh and make 12” poofs tying them into your inner ring ties. Fluff out your poofs.
  • Repeat this process on the outer ring with 13” poofs.
  • Cut 18 x 20” strips of 3 different colors of mesh.
  • Take a piece of your cut mesh and pinch the middle to make a ruffle.
  • Add them into a twist tie.
  • Repeat the same process until all your ties have a ruffle.

Make and add your ribbon tails

  • Take 6 different ribbons and cut 6 x 13” pieces of each color. Dovetail the ends.
  • Layer 2 ribbons tails on top of each other and attach it to a twist tie. Alternate the colors.
  • Fluff out the tails.
  • Take a different ribbon, make a 6” tail, attach it into a tie on the bottom tier, make a poof and tie the end into the next tie.
  • Repeat this until all your bottom ties have a poof.

Make and add your bow and sign.

  • Take a large fluffy rag bow and attach it onto your wreath near the bottom.
  • Take a 4” ribbon and make tails with 1 large loop.
  • Add this into your wreath next to your bow.
  • Repeat on the other side.
  • Take your sign and attach it above your bow. Securing it with pipe cleaners and cable mounts.
